Terms of Service

These terms apply to all services offered by Horizon Secure to its clients. By using our services, you agree to the conditions described below.

2. Training sessions (single-day events)

These conditions apply to training sessions delivered in a single session (full day or half day).

Refund policy

In accordance with the rules applicable to single-day courses and training sessions, tickets are non-refundable: all sales are final. No refund will be issued for absence or cancellation on your part, unless otherwise required by law.

Ticket transfer

A ticket may be transferred to another person at no charge, provided Horizon Secure is notified in writing at info@horizonsecure.ca at least 48 hours before the training begins. The new participant must provide their full name and contact information.

Cancellation or modification by Horizon Secure

If Horizon Secure cancels or postpones a training session for a reason beyond its control (force majeure, trainer illness, insufficient registrations), participants will have the choice of:

Horizon Secure will notify participants as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours before the scheduled start of the training.

3. Horizon 360° program and recurring support

These conditions apply to Block C of the Horizon 360° Program and all recurring support subscriptions (monthly or annual).

Meeting rescheduling

A minimum notice of 48 hours is required to reschedule a planned meeting. Without prior notice, the meeting is considered held and billed accordingly. Horizon Secure will offer an alternative time slot within the same week when possible.

Monthly plan

The monthly plan may be cancelled at any time with one (1) full month's written notice. No cancellation fees apply.

Annual plan

The annual plan requires a 12-month commitment. In the event of early termination:

Pause

A pause to the annual plan may be granted in exceptional circumstances (illness, force majeure), subject to a written agreement between both parties. The maximum pause duration is 3 consecutive months.

4. Custom services and automations

Custom service mandates (automation development, AI agents, custom integrations) are governed by an individual contract signed between Horizon Secure and the client.

The following specific conditions are defined in the service contract:

  • Payment terms (deposit, milestones, balance)
  • Cancellation and refund policy
  • Intellectual property of deliverables
  • Deadlines and delivery milestones
  • Warranties and post-delivery support

5. General provisions

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws in force in Quebec (Canada), including the Civil Code of Quebec and the Consumer Protection Act (R.S.Q., c. P-40.1). In the event of a dispute, the courts of the district of Trois-Rivières shall have jurisdiction.

Dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve it in good faith through direct discussion. If no agreement is reached within 30 days, the parties may resort to mediation before initiating any legal proceedings.

Amendments

Horizon Secure reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The date of last revision is indicated at the top of the page. Amendments take effect upon publication. Contracts in progress remain subject to the terms in force at the time of signing.
