2. Training sessions (single-day events)

These conditions apply to training sessions delivered in a single session (full day or half day).

Refund policy

A full refund may be obtained up to 7 days before the event date. Refund requests are processed through the ticketing platform (Le Point de Vente). After this deadline, no refund will be issued, unless otherwise required by law.

Exchange and ticket transfer

A ticket exchange is available up to 1 day before the event through the ticketing platform. A ticket may also be transferred to another person at no charge by contacting Horizon Secure in writing at info@horizonsecure.ca. The new participant must provide their full name and contact information.

Cancellation or changes by Horizon Secure

If Horizon Secure cancels or postpones a training session for a reason beyond its control (force majeure, trainer illness, insufficient registrations), participants may choose between:

• ✓ A full refund of the amount paid
• ✓ An equivalent credit applicable to a future Horizon Secure training

Horizon Secure will notify participants as soon as possible, and at least 48 hours before the session is scheduled to begin.

3. Support, custom services, and automations

The Horizon 360° Program, recurring support mandates and custom services (automations, AI agents, custom integrations) are each covered by an individual contract signed between Horizon Secure and the client. Specific conditions (payment terms, cancellation, intellectual property, deadlines, warranties) are defined in each contract.

Content ownership

All content published on the Horizon Secure website (text, images, graphics, logos, videos, methodologies including the N.O.R.D.™ Method, source code and design) is protected by copyright and remains the exclusive property of Horizon Secure, unless otherwise indicated. © 2025-2026 Horizon Secure. License to use

By accessing the site, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use of the content without prior written authorization is prohibited.

User-generated content

Comments posted on the blog are subject to moderation. Horizon Secure reserves the right to refuse or remove any comment deemed inappropriate, defamatory, or in violation of applicable laws.

Protection of personal information

The collection, use and protection of your personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

5. Limitation of liability

Content published on the Horizon Secure website (blog articles, service descriptions, interactive tools such as the savings simulator) is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice specific to your situation.

Horizon Secure strives to keep information up to date and accurate, but does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy or currency of all website content. Results displayed by interactive tools (simulators, calculators) are estimates for indicative purposes only.

To the extent permitted by law, Horizon Secure shall not be held liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the site or the inability to access it.

6. General provisions

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws in force in Quebec (Canada). In the event of a dispute, the courts of the judicial district of Saint-Maurice shall have jurisdiction.

Dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve it in good faith through direct discussion. If no agreement is reached within 30 days, the parties may resort to mediation before initiating any legal proceedings.

Amendments

Horizon Secure reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The date of last revision is indicated at the top of the page. Amendments take effect upon publication. Contracts in progress remain subject to the terms in force at the time of signing.
